CASE STUDY · META ADS

Same account. Different hands on the wheel.

A baby clothing brand was getting orders from its Meta ads, so it looked like everything was fine. It wasn't.

BEFORE · RUNNING ADS ALONE

Orders were coming in, so the ads stayed on.

This brand had been running its own Meta ads and getting orders. From the outside, that looks like ads that work.

But the numbers in Ads Manager didn't mean much to them. If an ad was bringing in sales, they left it running, even when it wasn't making a profit.

It's an easy trap to fall into. An order feels like a win, even when it cost you more to get than it brought in.

MAY 2026 · WHAT THE NUMBERS SAID

0.47x

Meta Ads Manager, 1 to 31 May 2026: purchase return on ad spend of 0.47, on £143.50 spent.

THE HANDOVER · JUNE 2026

Then they handed it over.

Same product. Same market. Same ad account. What changed was who was reading the numbers.

By August, the account looked very different.
